Assisted Livings are meant as an alternative to having care in your home. They offer hands on care, homemaker services, handicap accessibility, and nursing oversight. They do not provide the skilled nursing services that a nursing home has. Seniors must be medically stable to be eligible for assisted living. If you are unsure if your loved one is eligible, please contact us
We have 4 bedrooms to choose from; each bedroom has its own bathroom. Bedrooms 1 and 2 can be private or shared. They are handicap accessible, located on the second floor, with hardwood floors, large windows, and twin beds. Bedroom 3 is a private suite on the second floor. It is handicap accessible with hardwood floors, a twin bed, and a private sun-room. Bedroom 4 is a large, private suite on the third floor. It requires walking up the flight of stairs from the second floor. It has wall to wall carpeting, a full-sized bed, and a sitting area.
There are two aides on staff for the six residents during the hours of 6 AM to 10 PM. One aide is on from 10 PM to 6 AM. A Registered Nurse is on site part time and is on call 24 hours a day.

A physical activity is scheduled every day, such as darts, balloon volley, or chair exercises. A variety of independent activities are always available for clients to do as they choose.

Our ratio is typically 1:5. Certification requirement is 1:7. Having a small group and a small setting makes this very manageable and allows for staff to always have eyes on clients.
While we encourage clients to be engaged with others, they may choose not to participate in group activities. Individuals can still benefit from being around conversations, laughter, and movement. Clients can choose from a variety of independent activities such as puzzles, books, magazines, coloring or painting. Staff is also able to provide one-on-one attention.
For us the most important feature of Sunrise Serenity Senior Living is that it provides an opportunity for socialization to those involved in a safe, caring, and personalized environment. Along with the limited size of the group gives it a family feel.
There is considerable thought put into the group programs offered. The staff are very supportive and helpful where a participant has limitations. Highly recommended!
It’s good to have peace of mind knowing how well cared for my husband is while at Glory Days. Since it is in a small setting he feels like he’s visiting with friends. The staff is wonderful and the surroundings are beautiful.
